Horseback Rides

Sit tall in the saddle, breath in the fresh mountain air, tip your hat to the morning and head down the trail on your horse packing venture. You will explore the Selway-Bitterroot and Frank Church River of No Return Wildernesses. You and your party will spend your first night at our Base Camp, rise early, eat a hearty breakfast then mosey over to the hitching rails where you will mount your gentle mountain horse. The crew will already have your sleeping bag and personal gear packed on the mules. Whether through remote timbered trails, high mountain meadows or along rocky ridges, our guides will safely lead you as your soul soars while you take in the awesome sights. Lunch is served on the trail. Later when you pull into camp the crew will set up tents for you every evening and fix your vittles. Expect great food, some BBQ and some Dutch oven cuisine. Breakfast is served by the crew, feel free to pitch in if you like, and then camp is packed up and you are ready to hit the trail for another day.

Trips are $400 per person per day.  Group discounts available.
